HOW DID WE DO ON OUR 2017 PREDICTIONS?
Short answer: We killed it!
Our predictions on the stock market, jobs improvements and the lowering of taxes for people and corporations proved out to be right on. So when it comes to economics, we feel like we're pretty good. We predicted job growth would happen and it has. We predicted that the Dow would get to nearly 25,000 and it has! We predicted that taxes would be lowered for both individuals and corporations and it looks like it will happen! We predicted that the economy would grow faster than at any time under Obama and it has! Right on all accounts.
Perception is reality in economics and politics, and often in life. If someone perceives that our new President will be good for business, then the business environment picks up and it becomes a self-fulfilling virtuous cycle that feeds upon itself and continues to acceperate until a force comes along (like an Obama or any politician from California) that destroys that momentum.
Our other predictions were not so accurate. We assumed that ObamaCare would be overturned and it has not happened yet. It will bankrupt our families and therefore our country, so it's inevitable that it MUST be either severely changed or eliminated at some point, so we feel that it's only a matter of time now. The economic forces requiring it to be overturned will be too dramatic to ignore. You argue against that? How can a family of 4 with $20,000 in savings withstand even one major illness that has a cost of $150,000 - which is relatively minor, actually - when their deductible is $25,000? You wipe them out. They become bankrupt. We predict that bankruptcies due to ObamaCare deductibles will skyrocket - and only when thousands of US families have been devastated will anyone pay any attention.
We thought that we would go to the brink of war with Iran, but it looks more like we should have said N. Korea. Keep in mind, N Korea may be just a front for Iran and China, so we might not have been off as much as it appears. Escalating tensions with Iran are happening again as we approach year end with Nikki Haley calling them out at the UN for being in violation and now with Trump looking at not certifying the "treaty" going forward. Another disasterous Obama policy stance - that the Iranians would behave more moderately if we were "nice" to them. What an idiot. Islamic terror sponsors don't percieve our being nice as a good thing, they see it as weakness and then work to exploit it. Its been that way for decades, and Obama is too stupid to know it - or he doesn't care about the result to Americans, which is more likely.
Investigations into voter fraud in California seem to have been put on the back burner, having been blocked by the state at every turn. The state has refused to turn over critical information to the Feds in order to uncover what we believe would prove to be the most pervasive and corrupt institutionalized voter fraud scheme ever in the history of our nation. And the unconstitutional gun laws in California have not yet headed to the Supreme Court as we predicted they would, but again, we feel that these things are longer term in nature in that the wheels of justice move much slower than they should. We may never know about voter fraud, but we will get a hearing on guns. Unfortunately, in CA, they will ignore even the Supreme Court and just do what they want and make law abiding citizens criminals and make us fight for rights that were given to us by God and the Constitution.
Stay tuned for our exciting 2018 predictions.
And REMAIN VIGILANT AMERICA!!!
